OP if you make a CD of his leaked songs and play it in your car, I'm sure your mom wouldn't complain thenRawTuneNotACartoon

I personally fell he is the Best Mixtape Artist of All Time who happened to have a hit album and break into the mainstream but over time it showed that he's still just a mixtape artist instead of a great album creator and the fact that Tez actually makes his album adds to my belief of this.

Every single album has went platinum. Carter 3 went platnium in a week, and C4 almost did. Can't forget how legendary the first two are.
He was the first rapper to change the game with Rebirth, and he really showed his creativity with the the IANAHB series. Now add the mix-tapes.
Dude, Wayne is worlds bigger than being labeled a ''mixtape artist"
I get that, that's your opinion, but dude... Atleast be realistic.........................

So all these years my memories are with lil wayne music on my mind. My school knew me as Lil Wayne lol, he was been a part of my life for my last 6 years so im gonna listen to lil wayne for a long time

I don't compare Wayne to other rappers cause Wayne is basically the only rapper u properly listen to. Wayne played a huge part in my growing up, he'll always be in my pantheon of artists. I place him with people like David Bowie. What Wayne did in 2007/8/9 is like what Bowie did in the 70s, Bowie changed popular music in undeniable ways. Wayne changed the rap game completely. It's funny hearing all these up and coming rappers who you can just tell grew up listening to wayne. Wayne actually changed the game, but he won't get the same recognition as someone like Bowie because rap still isn't really considered in that way internationally tbh. Also Wayne doesn't really do the sort of things that the media like to talk about, he doesn't get into high fashion or movies etc. he's just Lil Wayne, he skates and raps... I love that tbh.
Also Wayne is just an interesting person. Like, I'm fucked if I'm watching an half hour video of any other musician just walking around their house talking about what they think about all sorts of shit. Bit with Wayne that was genuinely interesting.
I put put Wayne with David Bowie, Kate Bush and others like them... Revolutionaries with longevity.

C3 had Lollipop, other mixtape rappers have hits too. Plus i don't find any of his albums' quality amazing or anything. His mixtapes are definitely better than most of his albums.
Also, how did Rebirth change the game? And what creativity did he show with IANAHB?
IANAHB2 was nothing but a retail mixtape tbh. Most of these C5 singles sound like mixtape material also imo.
He's a mixtape rapper who got big but now he's right back to being a full mixtape artist imo bruh.
That's realistic af, there's no trolling in this bruh

C2 was a great rap album and without a doubt his best imo, i didn't enjoy half of C3 but the other half was great.
