During an interview with XXL, Birdman revealed it was Wayne and Minaj's idea to delay the releases.
"[Wayne]'s so much an artist like that," he said. "He change his mind a lot. He feel like he want to do more. Really, they be on they call. It ain't on me. So whatever Wayne want to do, Nicki want to do. I leave that up to them. I don't decide on dates and everything. I don't do none of that."

So Birdman likes to portray himself as being hands off and having nothing to do with dates, album push backs, and releases, but as we found out from Lil Wayne's tweets that's not true. Was Birdman the real reason for the flopped Tha Carter V season? Was Wayne's creative licence taken away? Lil Wayne said his creativity is a "prisoner" on Twitter.

Jay Sean says he talked to Tyga about his situation and he told him he was just frustrated the label been continually pushing his album back for no reason and it makes the artist look crazy for giving fan's fake release dates and pretending like they are personally pushing it back..that was Tyga's mentality for wanting to do his own thing.
