Drunk In Love was so fucking weak.. it was trash

    My opinion?

It's dope. Wayne goes in so fucking hard. No-one is fucking with his flow on this, and lyrically he just placed himself a cut above most other mainstream artists. As far as punchline rap goes, no-one is touching him right now. There are stupid amounts of quotables in here, I can't even begin to start writing all of them down.

Beat selection was meh. I've heard all these beats before so many times, and whilst Wayne's energy and wordplay is refreshing, its really hard to thump Hot Nigga or Try Me, cause those beats have been so overplayed..

But holy fuck. Think about this. Carter V. All original production, and Wayne in beast mode..

We've got a classic on our hands..

I'm gonna have to wait a while to see repeatability of this in comparison to No Ceilings too I was able to bump that constantly and even still now. I agree tho, his flows, and rhyme schemes are so much more diverse in this. Look at Sh!t for example, rhyme scheme was amazing. HollyWeezy was dopest Wayne verse I've heard in a mixtape in a long ass time.

One thing though, I wish he had much more tracks without autotune where it was just raw rapping and regular voice. Think if he went off on some "Watch My Shoes" type shit on this, that would've been amazing, and he could've done that easily. This mixtape was real dope though, I'd definitely put it in competition with No Ceilings cause No Ceilings even had throwaways like the I Got A Feeling.

Not to mention No Type was first autotune track I've heard from him that legit sounded like an 08 leaned out track. He's much more diverse now. Seems he's not bored not more and got shit to prove.

Btw I'm not bothered by the pussy/sex lines here cause it's different than how it was approached to on D4. And seems like he's getting these out on the mixtape as much as he could since album he's going for a different approach according to that CRWN interview he had.

            • It's not much worse than NC though. But NC is about an 8.5 out of 10. So that makes this an 8. I also don't think NC is his best mixtape like most of y'all do.

                • Off topic...but I'm hoping for a Weezy/G-Eazy or Drake/G-Eazy Collab in the future (maybe C5). G did open for Wayne and Drake on tour for some shows.

                  • At the very LEAST its comparable to NC, at best its better than NC for sure.

But one thing is a fact, Wayne got better. Better tape? Y'all can debate that. I know what I think

Like this wayne can outrap NC wayne...
