    We saw part 1 yesterday, now here is part 2 of Nicki Minaj‘s sit-down with Elliott Wilson for CRWN, which took place on December 16th in New York City.

    In this segment, the YM Barbie chats about her debut studio album Pink Friday, her feature on Kanye West’s “Monster” song, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, working with Beyonce on “Feeling Myself“, Eminem, and plenty more.

    Nicki also tells the stories of how one time Lil Wayne called her up to tell her she ain’t on Young Money no more, why she signed to YM over Warner Bros. Records, and remembering Wayne make Mack Maine tell her that her verse will be removed from “Bed Rock“!

            on that documentary she had she said she went to waynes house and did her verse and he cracked a smile

              I think it's because of where Wayne was at in his career at that point as well. He was probably like on proper power trip, where as now he is a bit more chill. Plus Nicki weren't anywhere as big back then, he wouldn't dare give her orders now days.

                    Wayne on a power trip? Maybe with interviewers.. But I dunno about other artists. He doesn't seem the disciplinarian type.

                    Nicki huge now. Wayne has said a few times he took them under his wing but they've flourished now and don't need his help anymore
