I just want to say how truly amazing it feels to finally have a solid, genuinely dope wayne project to listen to. Been bumping it nonstop, just like the old days. In recent years listening to wayne for me has been a total hit or miss experience. It was all skipping tracks and trying to convince myself that things were better than they actually were. LOL.
BUT WITH SORRY FOR THE WAIT 2 I can listen like I *USED TO*! LOL. Pun definitely intended. I don't have to feel embarrassed to play it for people... There are actually lots of songs I would even play for a wayne newbie or someone who hates wayne... Because this tape has his strongest bars since NC... Maybe before that even.
Drunk in love is the only lame moment and I can live with that. Even Wayne's classics from his peak have skippable tracks (except DD3, that's a 10/10). D5 saw him getting his groove back, but still like 2/3 of that tape just wasn't vibing with most old school wayne fans. He was still struggling a bit and his flow wasn't perfect.
I know im the king of long boring posts but I just wanted to say how psyched I am these days. Wayne is hungry again and killing it. If wayne or anyone in his camp reading this: wayne u done good homie. U paid attention to what was fucked up with your shit and u fixed it. S4TW2 is like the best of your recent styles with some older thrown in for good measure. I love how u kept the guest list down, u kept the track list the perfect amount of songs... And u set this shit up to flow better than almost any of your real albums. Dope dope dope job. We can't wait for the next fire to start. Keep burning bruh.
