It's about the law though, and the specific contract. If Wayne contract is really Shit, it doesn't matter what birdman has done outside of that

I don't see that happening. But regardless rappers can't jus release free material when they want. Contracts are made to stop shit like that. Even saw recently that Drake wanted to release his project for free but CM wouldn't let him. Some ppl rly think they will let wayne do that? Even if it doesn't push numbers like drakes, they will still see it as a money making opportunity

That's because Drake recorded it under YM what counts under CM. Wayne doing this outside of CM. CM can't do nothing about it cause Wayne doesnt make profit (money wise) of the album. Why can Wayne release an mixtape then?

It doesn't count. It's a compilation album. His contract is for 4 solo albums and he still has a duet album due too

Most of my favorite Wayne songs all have samples so if this album really is free... Wayne wont need to get any of his samples cleared...
