Its probably more work than the rapper tbh. Gotta equalize everything, add the echos, sync the adlibs, add any extra effects. A good mixer is the difference between a 16 year old soundcloud artist and a grammy award winning one.

Hmmm I'm no sound engineer so I don't really know but it's pretty much adjusting the music and vocals until they sound great together is my guess

the mixer plays around with everything to get the vocals and production sounding crisp and on point. mixing is an essential part of the recording process. If you listen to Wayne demos, I think A Milli is a good example, unmixed it sounds like shit
