Still it is nice to see these articles popping up. Going from C3 Lil Wayne where every article about Lil Wayne was glowing to post-prison Lil Wayne where every article was putting him down, it's a bummer. I don't really read them but you can certainly get a vibe from people and Lil Wayne was way down. I have a few Lil Wayne shirts. When I'd wear them in the C3 era people would come up excited about Wayne, after he got out people would either come up trash talking or talking about how he fell off. At a certain point I just stopped repping him because I didn't want to deal with them tbh. It's refreshing to see some hype and positive buzz regarding Lil Wayne. Especially so because I really think he's earning it. IMO even without an album out this has been Lil Wayne's best year since he went in.

i feel u. i been rollin' w/ Wayne my whole life and people ALWAYS kame to me for info or new musik.. then when he got out of jail, i was in 10th grade and i got so much shit for what he would drop. it was never THAT bad to me, most people just listen 1 time but they dont HEAR tha lyrics and they judge.

Lil Wayne will always be one of the top rappers in this rap game. His wide variety of mixtapes, albums, features, songs and all that speak for themselves. That's why young thug's recent album barter 6 didn't sell much of anything nor move or major unit because lil homie was trying to steal wayne's legacy, smh.
