Why do YOU admire Wayne?

Because he reminds me alot of the father i never had. I've been hearing stories about my dad that he was a real, loyal, hard working man just like wayne, before he went to fight for us in vietnam, he never made it back unfortunately.. But god is good, he gave us wayne which basically made it up for me

In fact still remember the last time i saw him, he was all packed up and ready to go, he put his hands on my shoulders and choked in tears and said 'be strong for me son' .. My mom shed a tear that moment but i never understood why that day. Well now everytime i'm going through hard times i remember those words and they help me through them.

Started listening to Wayne during school and yeah it helped me focus on doing shit. I know it sounds weird but when you find an artist you like then you usually go read about them and everything and to see what he came from to where he is. Yeah he started this whole Music thing when he was young but he still went ahead and got an education.

Then it all changes as you get older which is why I think I along with a lot of others don't really knock Wayne too much for trying different things like Rebirth and yeah we can acknowledge some of his music dropped in standard compared to his older catalogue but we could still appreciate what he gave us because yeah between C3 dropping and C4 he made enough money to just give it up and go away from it all he still kept making music and doing what he loves which in my eyes says a lot about a person and who they are.

Looking back now and seeing all the new rappers showing Wayne some love most of them say it in every interview "He goes to work everyday like he's trying to get a record deal" considering he's been in the game as long as he has the fact he is still showing hunger to improve what he does and give the fans something to listen to just earns him a ton of love and respect.

PS. Sorry for the long post but yeah Wayne's been "a part of my life" for the better part of 10 years or more so yeah have a lot to say about it.
