so i had this thought today about waynes last two projects. How sftw2 and fwa are works of and under tension. theres so much strain, so much force, pressure in so many of these raps, eospecially sftw2. he pushing so hard on songs like post bail bailing, you can practically hear him clamping down on his flows..


my thinking is.. nothing under that much tension doesnt eventually snap. its almost reminds me of the period before drought 3.. the raps were so tight, so clean.. that at one point, it just had to unhinge and detach, and we ended up getting drought 3, which gave us some of his most off the wall flows ever..


i think its possible, that waynes headed in the same direction again, might be a creative cycle for him. ill be curious to see how long he stays in this tense state.. and if he does eventually snap.. with the way hes rapping,think it could lead into an all time project for him. lol wayne always keeps it interesting.

Even after S4TW2 which had some good songs but poor replay value, and FWA which is a good and solid album imo, I still don't have faith in him after those shitty projects and verses.

but as you said he is keeping it interesting now and we'll see how his next project turns out.

I do believe that the situation with CM and Baby made him more hungry

no faith in wayne after d5, sftw2, anddd fwa? thats like 50 songs.. and a gang of features in between.. in my book.. he really hasnt missed since late 2013. thats a pretty incredible run.

D5 and s4tw2 was good, but they had poor replay value and alot of filler tracks.

I agree that D5 had a lot of fillers but S4TW2 was solid straight through with the acception of Drunk In Love.

it still comes down to this......he needs better people around him. we know tez and mack pick the tracklists and most likely arrange what songs to make videos for.....if wayne had someone around him who knew exactly what they was doing and not people who went the same school as him im sure he would be better of

Yeah I agree, but they don't make up for the 3 years before 2014.
