man his style was so vicious between these two tapes, been listening to the prefix a bunch lately, besides the songs feat reel, that shit is 5/5 , kinda reminds me of acid rap..

then how that style carried over into dedication 1, smh. nasty.

think the prefix /carter / dedication might be one of his best string of releases..

What aspects remind you of acid rap? The "rappity rap" aspect? Because he was really spitting. Seemed he was really focused on using multis during the Lights OutSqad/Prefix/Drought eras

i think on encore is where i heard it the most, just the energy and the pace, how layered his vocals were, he was all over the place, bouncing of the walls, and rhyming like mad. the speed and energy tho, feels to me like they were in a similar place in their rap development.. wayne is a whole lot greezier tho...

I agree, even some of the late SQ tapes and C1 leaks are just like this. One of my favorite Wayne era's
