I think he's fully aware of this situation. He said in his CRWN interview with Elliot Wilson that Mack Maine and Cortez tell him all the time. Also during one of this Weezy Wednesdays video he said that he can't go back to the old lil wayne because of where he's mentally at in life

Yeah I mean it makes sense that he can't go back to old wayne, and it's probably annoying for him to hear that shit, but then he pus out stuff like hot boy or glory and gets me all worked up

wayne problem was he was inconsistent 12- first half of 13 he's proved he can still rap countless times again again. 14-15 been nothing but fire just drop the autotune. and he told us fwa would be different. young thug rap them songs word for word and yall would call it fire and say he aint miss yall really sheep. he just missing the hit records in 15 all it takes is one and the flood gates will open up

One thing to be said about young thug as I've noticed his wave grown this year, his songs are much more re playable in comparison to Wayne's current music(outside of A lot of features this year) but the fwa cuts don't sound the same being played back to back young thugs non sense just sounds good to the ear but the world knows he ain't saying shit

Wayne pretty much killed his own buzz wit lack luster verses/albums, skater persona & dressing like a clown in his 30's. Somebody need to tell him act his fuq'n age. FWA was lyrically a good album to me & he paid NOLA homage on there but he abused auto-tune. It's like he's trying to make da masses remember he fathered da Thugs/Futures of da game but it's falling on deaf's ear. Wayne had several flows b4 auto-tune somehow he 4got dat. Just RAP nigga!!!

So true and unfortunate that people starting to hate on Wayne cuz of how he dressed. O well tho. Weezy does what he wants and will be remembered for that
