Do you think Weezy is right when he said that his "next album" (I think he was referring to the carter 4) will sell 5 million in a week? Is this expectation to far fetched or is it achievable especially in today's music world?

it's impossible to sell 5 million cds anymore...its just no feasible ..nobody pulls those numbers not even high class pop acts like madonna etc...it would be nice to see him pull off what he pulled off last year...if he can do the same thing thats good enough its even better nobody repeats success like that unless their fucking amazing...

LOL no it's not possible. People who don't like his music won't buy his music. Celebs yeah some will buy his music, yeah real Wayne fans buy his music and other fans buy his music but a lot of them will just download it for free and never buy a copy of his album. In my opinion it'll be hard to even hit 1 million in first week sales again, unless it's very similar to C3 that is.

Like I said many times, people here need to stop taking everything Wayne says so damn serious. He just heard he had sold 1 mil. copy's in the first week, he was kinda happy (of course) and that why he just said something. It was just a joke, of course he's not gonna sell 5 mil. in the first week, he knows that.
