Would be a dope intro.... & would probably be my new favorite Wayne song TBH. Boxing is my shit.

The line won't even ruin the song. It fits with the essence of the original song and it's true to Wayne's reality.

                    Come on.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

If Wayne reduces himself to copying that and trying to stay relevant, us as fans will not appreciate it. If he tries to please us as fans, then the average hip hop listener isn't going to like Wayne. Wayne's stuck in between changing with the times or pleasing his fans, and it's hard to do both if all the big artists these days are just copying his original style. Wayne's time as the king of rap is over, and its never coming back. The best he can do now is focus on giving us loyal fans what we want. He's not gonna sell 1 mil a week anymore. Probably not even 500K. So at this point, he just needs to forget the money and the popularity and work towards improving his legacy by going out on a good note. No Ceilings 2 is not going to be an influential mixtape. But at the very least, I hope it's a sign of a Lil Wayne who knows his time is coming to an end, but he delivers a solid project that we all want as fans: no autotune, no features, no hooks. Just purely killing every beat. Kinda sad writing all this bc Wayne never got the credit he deserves, but its time for us as fans to realize he's no longer in the race and we should just enjoy the music for what it is. The hype is still real tho
You gon' take your words back when Wayne is free from CM
