There's a point in the movie where right before Weezy gets on stage he says "man I look like I sold a million records", then he asks to cut that part out. Why is that?

I don't think he cares about what people think of his ego. He has always had a big ego, and rightfully so. I mean he did proclaim himself the best rapper alive lol.

Well it's a great accomplishment to sell a million records in 1 week
and he didn't want to just make it seem like it was a fluke?
Or that it was because of him and not his music?

I was wondering the same thing..
My guess is he either thought he sounded cheesy, or conceited. Who knows.
I think it was rude of QD3 to tell about Tez smoking and shit before school,
even though it was pretty funny lol
