I first became a fan when I heard a milli never liked hip hop before heard that but that heard it and loved hip hop and lil Wayne was the starter for me his flow his swagger blew my mind no homo
I became a Lil Wayne fan back in 2004 (I was 14 at the time) and it all began when I first saw the video and heard the song "Go DJ" (Carter I). This is what started all the madness for me. His energy, swagger, unique delivery, and nasty punchlines on that song really intrigued me and I haven't stopped listening to him since.
ive been listing since carter1 but im not gona lie at that time i didnt really care bout his music i thought it was alrite then i herd carter 2 then fuck i was hookd downloaden and buyen anything dude made its been like 7 years... and i still havent herd all of his shit lol weezy has like 100000 fucking songs......so yar... thats the story hoe!
You Aint Ever Seen A Nigga This Focused And I Did It All In A Pair Of Air Forces
First I was like OK he's just another black dude who puts LIL in front of his name I'm not interested ... then I was watching MTV or something and they ranked Lil Wayne as the #1 rapper of the year I was like damn, he must be good, then I started getting into his music.
I became a fan when I heard Bring it Back on BET. After that I went and bought the Carter and he became my fav rapper. There are some parts of me that wish I could see Wayne make 1 mixtape or album with his Carter 1 flow and swagger. However, his stuff now is good also but nothing will beat his era of Carter 1 - Carter 2 that was when he was at his best.
I guess you could say I got into him pretty late It was early 2008 when I really started feelin his shit and now I'm one of the biggest Weezy fanatics out there.
