Maybe not so much him, but his fans paint a very corny persona around him. His music doesn't interest me for a few reasons. For 1 his fans annoy the shit outta me, for 2 he rapped with too much of the "I'm trying to make a statement about society" tone. And for 3 I just simply can't really get into his music. Something about his lyrical content and voice and flow just don't pull me in very much. I will admit though I haven't listened to a lot of his stuff. I have listened to a good handful of songs and none them interested me

Yeah, you are right about the fans, but I don't listen to fans, I listen to a musician.. To be honest, lots of Lil Wayne fans are idiots. Let's not even talk about Eminem fans, lol.

As for your second reason, yes he did made lots of songs about society, but you probably only listened to those, because he has a lot of songs, and lot of them are not about society. He rapped about lots of topics. His most popular songs are about society tho, like Changes.

Third reason is fine. I don't like certain artists as well, and I can't say I'm big fan of 2Pac. I barely listen to him, his voice and flow is great to me, but I just don't really like the melody of old school rap.
