Eminem vs Lil Wayne

Emeinem is a better technical rapper then wayne 200% no doubt no argument thats fact and we can prove it by counting eminems syllbales, how many rhymes per bar, etc etc compared to lil wayne

but one could argue that wayne makes better music then eminem, which is an opinion but it would be an understandble opinion

thats a lil strong bruh. we really underratin the technical skills of wayne... as far as rhymes per bar em takes that cuz internal rhyme is his thing, but as far as end rhymes go and syllables at the end, wayne is neck and neck if not better than em. in addition wayne is much more diverse as far as flows and deliveries go and matching with all styles of beats. em really can only rap on a small range of beats with a small range of flows. he's got a distinct style (hence the fact he produces most of the beats he raps on), its just that he has mastered that style debatedly more than any other rapper has mastered their style.

all in all em a better rhymer but wayne an overall better rapper imo...but as far as music goes in their primes, em made better albums than wayne imo...u just cant touch his mixtapes tho

Eminem in his prime was above and beyond leagues anyone dead or alive. He will forever be the GOAT imo.

This is stupid. The number of syllables isn't the only thing that determines how complex someone bars are. And anytime someone starts talking about "fact" when talking about art I can't take it seriously. Art is SUBJECTIVE.

But as far as my opinion goes, Wayne is definitely my favorite even though I have a ton of respect and appreciation for Em. Wayne can actually somewhat sing, has more styles and flows, has put out way more material, and I personally prefer the ridiculous metaphors/similes/wordplay Wayne consistently spits.

You right wayne does rap 3-4 syllbles rhyme words at times but like I said earlier if we talking straight technician skill which embodies the whole category and not just syllables, which includes alliteration, assonance, consonance, rhymes per bar, how many sylables per rhyme, rhyme schemse, then eminem is more technical, they aint neck to neck

I agree in all of what you said. But all of what you said had to do with rhyming and like i said em a better rhymer. But I said wayne just a better rapper overall imo when you factor in flows, style, delivery

I guess I just count wordplay and punchlines and rhyme schemes and everything all in the same category and don't break it down that far. They're both great rappers in their own right, just different.

It do go that deep we can even go as far as transcribing rappers lyrics as if they were an instrument (techniclly they are)

Alot of rappers are technical rappers subconciously
others actually study it and do it like that
