What do all these award shows have against Wayne?

i just saw the 2016 bet hip hop awards nominations and wayne doesn't have one nomination which is fine because he hasn't really dropped anything in a minute. but 2 chainz got nominated for his verse on chance the rapper's 'no problem' song in the 'Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse' category. wtf is all that about? even a deaf person can tell you wayne had the best verse on that song......

At the end of the day award shows simply come with the release of your own body of work. no personal body of work for a while = no nominations

Body of work? What about FWA? This man dropped more projects last year than most rappers have in the past few years. All them projects didn't get anywhere near as much recollection as they should've. FWA shoulda been at least nominated for AOTY. This year he doesn't have any solo projects but the results from last year show its not about the body of work. It's about people not giving the man the respect he deserves.

He needs to do a regular album drop, not mixtapes or tidal only albums. At least a tidal release with the option to buy on iTunes.
