What's the big deal with Martin Shkreli saying he has C5 ?

I am pretty sure he does not have the album. We only heard 10 seconds of a song so it could of been anything. My guess is that he got in contact with that geux guy and bought an IANAHB2 leftover. But he decided to look for attention and play a short snippet of the song on Periscope. Now blogs and everyone on social media is going crazy saying C5 is about to leak blah blah blah

Shkreli is known for buying huge amounts of notorious unreleased hip-hop projects (and often keep em to himself). For example he offered Ye 10M for Pablo and released a Wu Album.
Shkreli is hated for his tactics of becoming rich (im sure you heard of the medicine incident). He's likes to portray himself as a villain (seems more like an amateur to me tho).
Whats really interesting is that Wayne didn't seem to approve the deal so sb from his Camp might've sold it (and therefore stole it) but it might as well just be a stunt (which would be weird imo)
The possibility of him really owning it aint low...i hope he really doesn't but it sounds like it could be OG CV material. The best thing for Wayne would be to hand him 15 random tracks for 10 Mill and just release the real thing later as an "replacement".
Shkreli spoke on the Bieber feature which is a information he'd at least would have to dig for so thats an indication that either he received some material or that he got to much time on his hand.

So thats an information everyone has access to...plus the tracklist was tentative and the idea of a 2 Disc CV was rumored to be a trick to get off contract quicker.
The only real indication are the tracks and imo they sound era - typical
