A Lil Wayne Theory

Since we all know Birdman and his entourage are all about appearance and marketing schemes I often try to understand some of their moves...

Bringing you back to when Weezy was sent to Riker's island for a VERY short period of time... I wondered how can a so influential artist in this time be sent to jail so easily with all the money/lawyers/ ressources they have.. They get caught easily for weapon possesion or drugs IDK and end up in jail..
I wondered it that wasn't just a scheme to up his gangster credit.(I think we all know that wayne appears way more gangster than he truly is? All that blood talk and threats over songs but aint never seen none happen except young thugs bro shootin da bus (I tend to believe young thug really is about that life)). Maybe he wanted people to associate him with the legendary TUPAC who also served time at this prison.. Anyways sometimes I think about those theories.. Like when wayne shot himself.. People believe he was trying to kill himself? Etc...


Maybe are we too deep down in our thoughts and truly these rappers are just doing what they used to do in the streets as dumb as it sounds..I believe these rappers success most of the time is in high correlation with their demonstration of how far they're ready to go to prove a point (ex 21 Savage blowing up...young thug...)

If someone is going to do something as stupid as go to jail for publicity, they usually do it either when they're trying to get fame or when they're losing it. Wayne was doing neither.

However, I can certainly believe that birdman took full advantage of the situation and used it to make a profit.
