The Wayne comparison was interesting, because, to my knowledge, he's the only rapper to ever successfully argue he is better than Jay Z. During that period, from 2004-2009, when Wayne was claiming to be the best rapper alive, he actually was, and Jay only released one critically acclaimed project, while Wayne released six!

Ben's Big Blog: A Brief History of Young Money Comparing Themselves to Jay Z
Since Remy Ma bodied Nicki on shETHER and called her out for comparing herself to Jay, I thought I'd look at Drake and Wayne also comparing themselves to him.

Both Drake and Nicki's comparisons are pipe dreams.

NC is probably Wayne at his best ever.
DD3 is a close second for me and a lot of those songs from that tape got millions of views combined.
The retail version of C3 sold a mill first week because all the hype. But if you review the album compared to the sessions it's not that good BECAUSE of what it could of been. Leaks ruined that. C1 is a classic for the south.
C2 is his first mainstream album although many would consider C3 to be that one.
