i know im late as f and no one probably cares about this but im bored and feel like sharing my thoughts so here we are

Summary: I thought the book was dope it had funny and interesting moments and the anecdotes were pretty decent the deeper more introspective moments were really interesting and it was probably the most personal we've got to Wayne besides his music of course.
Before i bought the book people warned it would be boring and sure it has its down-time here and there but i found something to like on every page Waynes personality and wit shined through the pages and the deeper moments let us connect a little with Waynes frame of mind.
Highlights (SPOILER WARNING)
SPOILERSPOILER
Positives:
- Sections where wayne reflected let us get on a deeper level with waynes frame of mind in that period of his life and who wayne is as a person generally which i think any fan of any artist would appreciate, these moments were the big highlight of the book for me 100%
- Funny moments throughout the book this has been a big part of waynes music his always had wit and charisma this translated well in the memoir and therefore made the read light and enjoyable
- Anecdotes were really interesting but nothing that any hardcore Wayne fan wouldn't have already heard about besides a few stories here and there haha
- Hearing about Waynes reactions to notable moments in prison allowed us to get into depth on waynes frame of mind and what his like as a person
Negatives
- Repetition but then again you have to consider this is a journal and naturally humans carry out a bunch of standard habits in their daily lives Wayne has always stated his life can be a bit mundane day-to-day but thats the case with literally any human ever so when we apply this to a prison setting and on top of that as a memoir it becomes even more evident
-Moments where he said "i was on the phone with... and had a bad conversation..., Writing lyrics, my creativity is limited because..., i had a good conversation with..." i didn't like these moments because all of those little things could have been stories of there own if wayne expanded a bit i mean i understand that this wasn't intended for publication but its still a missed opportunity speaking of missed opportunities
-NO LYRICS MADE IT INTO THE BOOK BESIDES BLUNT BLOWIN? wtf kinda shit is that?! i remember when they first announced this book it was said this would have been a big part of the experience but nope they left it out hugeeeeee missed opportunity here tbh was one of if not the major thing i was looking forward to going into this book a big glaring hole in the wall in terms of not realising this books potential
alright thats all fam this shits probs littered with grammatical errors and spelling mistakes but it does not matter *lil uzi voice*
