  • FWA is Lil Waynes best album

FWA (Free Weezy Album) is easily Lil Waynes best piece of work to date my reasons why
-the album had a concept -wayne snapped on every track
-the focus was on music not gimics
-underrated/underground features add a sense of uniqueness and obscurity to the project
-people called it 'critic bait' but were quick to overlook the concepts and the bars that wayne delivered on this project
    - wayne at his most mature and focused
    - wayne himself was proud of the work saying its 'one of his best' (im.aware he said this about IANAHB2 But that was likely a joke)

    Highlights:
    My Heart Races On
    He's Dead
    Without You
    Pick Up Your Heart
    London Roads
    Post Bail Ballin

Only song i can confidently say is absolutely shit is 'im that nigga' besides that flawless album head to toe

Btw i know i talk about this album a lot but im frustrated how overlooked it is

Everyone and their mama screamed for 'substance' but as soon as wayne delivers substance everybodies ears go deaf i like how this album is a secret gem but at the same time i want it to be rightfully celebrated as one of the best examples of rap in the 21st century it makes me a lot more hopeful for Tha Carter V as well because if wayne put that much effort into FWA no doubt C5 Will be insane

I love the album, but to me there's a couple filler songs that could have been replaced with better ones to make the album better imo

          I'm the nigga
          Murda
          White girl
          And potentially thinking about you

These songs to me are the ones that bring the album as a whole down if you're looking at it from the entire aspect of the album, I love white girl and thinking about you, just feel they don't belong on the album

Top 3 for me C3,,Rebirth/C2,FWA (fucking love rebirth though!) Don't get why they left out Street Chains that song is fire. But overall is a spectacular album with great wordplay and his delivery on each track felt like he put his all into it for us fans and I love that

                It's obviously Carter 3!

BUT... this kinda reminds me of Kanyes 808 and heartbrears solely because it sounds different but still a solid album through and through.

                1 c3
                2 c2
                3 c4
                4 LFLS
                5 FWA

You're overthinking White Girl and Thinking About You. They are filer songs but they fit the album -- Historically I don't agree with the order of Wayne track listings. I think if you designed your own FWA tracklist you might hear them fit a bit better.

And I know the majority dislike I'm That Nigga but all in all its just a fun high energy song its not supposed to be a lyrical showcase LOL

Its a great album. Glory, Street Chains, Without you etc.

But it is not his best album, it's not even an album that will turn you into a Wayne fan if you weren't before.
But the Carter albums are, minus C4.

                        I hate them thirsty bitches
                        Cut them off like circumcision
