I disagree with a lot of the criticism. He is spitting as good as ever on this. The small issues that I have that keep it from being perfect are:

1 - I don't like the choruses on songs like Bank account, and 5 Star. Stuff like "face in her pussy and my thumb in her asasasasssssssssss, make her do the jumpmanananananannnn" take a lot away from my enjoyment. The actual rapping is 10/10

2 - I have always preferred just the "voice, the beat, and the recorder"
2b - I would like Suwu more if it was rapped at a fast pace
2c - I would like Young more if it was rapped instead of sang

I have had similar issues with parts of every Wayne project after 2008. Right now his rapping is just as good or better than 2014-15 when we got S4TW2, FWA, and NC2 which I actually like a lot.

Wayne’s random lines about pussy still sound like shit a teenager would think/say. If he found more clever ways to work that stuff in where it was delivered better or maybe not at all, I feel like he’d really be onto something with this style.

He influenced this new mumble rap genre with dope autotunechi songs of the past, but now he’s chasing his own imitators who’ve moved the sound forward (or backwards, depending).

It’s like the tv show the simpsons inspired family guy to exist, then family guy developed into its own thing, but the simpsons started trying to be like family guy. Then the simpsons started to suck and never got better.

Wayne = the simpsons. Good parts from time to time - maybe even a good episode once in a blue - but overall it’s just a pale fax of its former glory.
