Dedication 6 Discussion/Anticipation Thread

So I have listened to D6 Reloaded completely several times and have gone back and forth on my opinion. Let me preface this by saying I used to be a Wayne Stan and still really appreciate a lot of his music, but I have realized that this tape just isn't for me. Wayne has lost some of his allure for me and it sucks. Sure there are some really good songs on this, but for the most part I'm not too big on it. I honestly would give it like a 6/10 which bums me the fuck out.

Can you at least get 15-20 tracks between both 'discs'? I just made a playlist, and it is amazing.

Groupie Gang is getting slept on like a mf.... Maybe he ain't spittin all fast like everything else but if you get past the trash 808s he is flowing like I ain't heard in a while. Sick shit.

That's actually what I did. So it works out. I guess I just have this Wayne nostalgia where I want everything he used to be. I must say, though I don't like this tape all that much, it is nice to hear the hunger in his voice. I can't really even put my finger on what it is that I don't like about it lol

You're not a wayne fan if you don't know he makes music for everyone. You should know you're not gonna like every song he does but that's also what makes him so good. He's so creative & diverse and to the people saying they don't think it's that good, I guarantee you like 20 of these 35 songs

Light years is like my favorite kinda autotune.
These stand out the most to me. Great tape overall. I knew the first part just felt unfinished to me. Cause I knew he wasn’t done!

I like part 1 better overall, but I think Reloaded has the best songs.

Its also interesting to see what others would leave off a track list because Back to Sleep has turned into one of my favorites.

I have been skipping Weezy n Madonna, KREEP (classic IANAHB2 era lyrics), Light Years (good but not my style)

Kreep definitely has some cringeworthy bars, dick and pussy stuff for sure, but to say it’s IANAHB2 style is not entirely accurate. It’s definitely better than that trash. Not a great song but not as terrible as 2013 Wayne.
