I don't mean to seem patronising but it just seems like you lot don't know what 'theme' means

• 2.
  an idea that recurs in or pervades a work of art or literature.

You're using the fact that he's "in a dark mind frame" to argue that he hasn't intentionally given this tape a dark theme.

Nc2 has an overall dark feeling and sound and Wayne's lyrics in general have always been largely murder and drugs based. Here he took the '6' thing and intentionally ran with it as a theme for this tape, the gruesomeness and brutality is more focused, he literally says "that's some sick shit" or "666" on almost every song and then the very last thing he says on the tape is "Dedication 6, but this is some sick shit, some very sick shit. Dedication 666 yourself to hell".

You're willing to believe that he could come up with all this complex wordplay but consider it a "reach" that he would intentionally or at least consciously stick to a theme throughout the majority of a tape. The fact that he is "in that mindset" surely only makes it more likely that he would do that.

A reach would be to say that this is a concept album or an epic poem like the Iliad and every song is a chapter in a story or whatever.

Destroyed stands out so clearly, because it's not even from NC2 recording session. The only song that is not auto-tune infested, nothing was the same reference (he referenced nwts quite a few times in 2013), basically d5 voice. Well no wonder it's the best song.

i loved "im nice" and thats probably my only favourite song on that bich lol

i like Millyrock and Duck

Yeah, I had to go back and listen to part 1 again. Didn't like it when it first dropped but it's got some gems. Part 2 is a 9/10 for me.

Alright bruh.... hear me out again... I just went through NC2 again completely unbiased and that's actually some slept on heat.

Hate it or or love it next time you sip some liquor or smoke a backwood throw some good headphones on and just look through it. We sleepin.... I can name TWO handfulls of songs on there that are just as good as D6, S4TW2, and shit maybe FWA ... play Destroyed first.... my DAMN!


Edit... I also like that there are original tracks on NC2... D6 has 1 and that's only cause nobody has found where abracadabra came from yet... to my knowledge.

I been saying this since it came out. but all of you fuckheads were on the bandwagon. Wayne was spittin on NC2. The beats were trash remakes and the autotune was slick trash but Wayne was killin it.
