That's part of the charm of D5 I feel. Sure it's still extremely rough around the edges (like Checker's fries) but it honestly feels like Wayne is having fun while still delivering fire bars. Coming off the lack of nominations that year, he was actively aware he was in a bad place and had that hunger to get that top spot back. And look where he is now with D6 and C5. The charm, flow, and bars are back where they were in 2007 but even better now I feel. People are calling him the GOAT and all time best again too. Dude is in his 2nd prime at the moment. Times like these are why I fucking love being a Wayne fan.
