And I thought MCHG by Jay-Z was a masterpiece.... My whole point is music doesn't have a long shelf life and an album needs to have at least a few relevant topics to be received properly. Jay Z probably was a bad example I don't think a Pac or Biggie album would work if it were released today no matter how classic we see them.

But the shit Pac talked about is currently happening right this very second as we make these post. As if he was a prophet. And I think Biggie is the best rapper ever so I’m bias! Him and drake rap on similar beats n shit. The samples rapped over r&bish Beats. Biggie woulda killed it. But I’m bias. And I’ll like to add that i forgot wtf We was talking bout lol

Pac died over 20 years ago and he's still one of the most relevant rappers to date

if pac and biggie were alive
they'd just be as relevant as people like snoop, dre, diddy, etc
and if you notice one thing about all them..... they have gone onto other business ventures

Yall missed my point... if Tupac was an unknown artist today his music wouldn't sell. Of course we would all get it knowing who Pac was.

I guess my argument was less about talent and more about commercialism.

Why do you believe that when we got Kendrick and Cole. That now if you said Wayne was a brand new artist and his first mixtape was NC2 then i would believe you

Idk Pac would probably get into acting, and maybe politics aswell.
I believe he'd be more relevant than all of them, maybe not in the rap game though.

Im talking straight up music... and yeah Pac is a fuckin legend but the majority of people just don't listen to that kinda rap anymore. My point is the longer Wayne waits to release C5 the worse it will be received reguardless of how perfect it was in 2013.
