C5 a step back?

I hope we get C5 as a leak, but I really want Wayne to redo the actual album because he has become a much better rapper since 2014. Certain tracks like believe me, grindin, gotti, dusse were up there quality-wise... but I always thought krazy, start a fire, moment (not C5 but same era) were trash. They were a step up from IANAHB2, but that’s not saying much.

Then again there’s life of mr Carter which sounds like one of the dopest tracks he’s done in 10 years. So who knows.

All I know is that he’s been getting better and better the last couple of years (S4TW 2 and FWA), but now especially D6 full 35 trx

I want more of that D6 lyrical prowess. I can’t deal with no album of Krazies. That shit was garbage.

Right now, I feel like Carter V is on the same level as Detox. Something tells me we just might not ever hear Carter V. I really hope i’m wrong, but C1 came out came out in 2004, C2 came out the end of 2005, C3 came out in 2008, and C4 came in 2011. We were supposed to get C5 in 2014, it’s now 2018 and we still don’t even have word on the situation. I will always be a fan of Wayne, but C5 was the most anticipated album of the century & it’s just sitting in a box somewhere collecting dust. They need to just open the time capsule, and give it to the world.
