        I don't think it was weak/average but I suppose everyone has a different stance on that - I quite enjoy them. But IMO, a classic has to have influence and quality.

            It's a different style tbh, I feel like it's why Wayne's been around for so long though, a lot of rappers that kept making more of the same music faded away.

              i've always fcked with lights out and 500 degreez but that earlier stage had a lot of junk as well he didnt quite nail the mixtape sound until Dedication 1 for me or the early YM tapes was when he really started sounding like his on his way to legendary status

                For me, I'd say Prefix onwards is what formed the Wayne most know and love. But I getchu.
