i had, its a Jesus bracelet. You can get one from a dollar stone. The wood ones is better looking.

Its not a "mexican" thing ive seen plenty of non mexi's wearing it around i including have one on right now i had to get a new one because i lost my other one the other day theyre 5 dollars max..in New York you can get them for like a dollar for the same exact one he has..

is not really a "mexican thing", is has a lot of saints that most of latin americans believes.. is very cheap, you can get them like for less than 5 bucks...
