Wayne is not selling a million in 2018 lol. But with his Carter albums is always hype, on top of the album being possibly Detox’d at one point I’d have to say 300-370k.

Wayne stop releasing music (on streaming platforms) right before the streaming era took off in late 2014. Hard to predict what he’d do in this climate

Nobody buys solid albums anymore but Carter 5 is trending somewhat and if people had a date in particular for its release maybe people could build and up hype and speculate leading to it potentially streaming towards a million in a week. I mean Justin Bieber, Mikky Ekko and Justin Timberlake are on it to say the least which will probably move a lot of units.

This is true friend but I’m a buy C5 still lol to support the best rapper alive and I’m not the on to usually buy the physical CDs but Wayne and sometimes drake are the only rappers I buy the physical copies I have every wayne album in physical CDs and iTunes

Thats what’s wild... J Cole was breaking streaming records with KOD and it still really didn’t sell shit. You need some alternative backing to get the big numbers. Viral Video song... (Black Beatles Mannequin Challange), Huge Music Video (Gods Plan) or Huge Features (I’m the One).... hopefully just the wait and story behind C5 gives it its big numbers cause idk if Wayne or his team can pull some crazy shit off in the age of social media.
