unfortunately I do not think he will sell much like this, his fame is not good, even more that everyone knows that he is free and does not pronounce anything, I saw people talking that his performance in Summer Jam was bad, this verse in Rich Sex is was bad, his fame is not good at the moment, I think he should hype for c5 releasing a single, show that he is recording music video, make advertisements and release C5 fast .. the longer it takes to release c5, more impatient we are, 4 years waiting

no where near because in 2011 wayne was riding the post-prison hype and also was going on a great mainstream feature run and had A LOT of traction with his singles as they were very commercially friendly and approachable EG How To Love, Mirror those tracks are still massive if you play them in public people recognise them

Tha Carter III is self explanatory really i dont need to get to deep into it but obviously best rapper alive dropping leaks/mixtapes/features etc etc helped propel that record

Tha Carter V however has had a very troubled release period and were stuck now with average features in the eye of the mainstream at the moment

obviously the core fan base like us losers will know all the super dope verses but mainstream are hearing a super pitched out autotune weezy so that kind of effects things i mean he has had some good mainstream features Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Bebe Rexha, Dj Khaled so there is SOME traction now its a matter of harnessing that and steering it on the best course forward personally im here for music quality sales dont really phase me much but time will tell on what numbers he will hit i definitely suspect they are attempting to go off with a bang if this is meant to be Waynes last album he'd want to put that work in to make sure the release is a good and clean one going forward since its been so fucked up leading up to this point
