  • C5 late track addition

After seeing Drake's absence, and that YM IG (or Twitter) post last week "More CV" or whatever it said, I was convinced the next move was gonna be to drop one final track onto the album to boost sales -- which it would've done.

Think about it: You sell almost 600k "units" and then right before the first week is over you drop one last track w/Drake featuring. It would easily bump the final number up to like 700-800k. If the song was good enough, maybe more.

But it doesn't look like that's going to happen, since we only have two and a half more days until Friday.

I guess maybe those tracks are being withheld for the physical CD version. I wish it could be part of the official album, but whatever.

There's also the outside chance that maybe the Drake featuring track just wasn't good enough for C5. We know quality control and overall vision on this album was top priority.

Physical version of the album will be double disc after all.

Just so you’re aware.. that late addition track would need to be streamed roughly 150Million times in a few days in order to boost the sales that much.... not a likely scenario.

Why are you making it sound like C5 needs a Drake feature to be successful?

The length of the album is so long. I doubt theyll add to many additional bonus tracks on hard copy as it would need to be 3 discs.

I don’t think it needs a drake feature. It just seems unusual that he’s not on it. I don’t even like Drake that much anymore, it’s more just a sign of respect to be on his mentor’s opus. But if Wayne didn’t even want him there, then who the fuck am I to care? Lol

Personally, I love C5 as is. It’s insanely close to perfect.

Nicki Minaj had a Target exclusive
i say there's a good chance Wayne does the same

it would be dumb to have a great Drake feature as an exclusive though

outside chance Drake feature wasnt good enough?

I'm positive they have a good track together in the vault
just like how Wayne has tons of other great tracks in the vault

I think Wayne was thinking that he doesn't need Drake to put a #1 album and wanted to prove the world that he still was the GOAT.
Even though Wayne/Drake's features are always bangers
