Anyone notice how his rapping in these snippets has always sounded head and shoulders above everything else he was doing at the time? (Krazy, Start a fire, basically all the OG C5 singles). I mean, Believe Me, D'usse were definitely dope, but they weren't at this level! This shit sounds like 2007-08 Wayne for fucks sake.

It kind of makes me wonder wtf was going on... All that other trash, he can keep it if OG C5 sounded like those. But if it sounded like these, not only do I want it... but I also want to know why he was rapping this good on these tracks, but rapping absolutely garbage on shit like Krazy!

All those C5 singles were mediocre af. Krazy has some substance , but I found Wayne on it in a state of boredom. I never liked the way he performed all those! It's insane how D'usse was indeed far ahead from Start a fire (lol what a joke , unless you put some rihanna on it , this wouldn't blow up in a million years) , Believe me (yeah i said it) and even that LOX track...I didn't fancy it....All were good lyrically , but something was off.
I don't know what was happening , C5 would be cringey if it was like this and I don't know how they would boost it...maybe @no_tom&jerry was right?

I loved believe me..specially the second part(same as gotti second half was dope) i think as a street single believe me was perfe t..he just should have followed up with a chartbreaking hit,maybe just chill(in 2014) or light up with JT..and a 6f7f type song and it would have been perfect..something was missing and still is tbh..just a huge hit or rap song
