I feel like it shouldve done better.

I don’t even know that it’s cheapos necessarily. I preordered two copies of the vinyl, and one cd. But God only knows when all that is coming out.

I have a tidal subscription and you can download offline, and I have the hifi membership since 2014 so everything is actual CDQ. Not 256 kbps or 320 CDQ... I’m talking actual 800+ CDQ. WAV quality.

I bought it on iTunes the night it came out, because it wasn’t on tidal right away and I had to have it immediately.. so I bought it anyway. But iTunes quality is garbage to my ears. I listened to the first few songs until tidal dropped it like 20 mins later. Then I moved onto tidal version. (For the record I’m more than happy to buy C5 multiple times, it’s my honor).

Basically I bought C5 four times last week, and I’ve listened to it most on tidal because it’s actually available, it’s CDQ and it’s convenient. That’s the crazy thing about the music industry nowadays.

Half the time shit doesn’t even drop outside streaming and iTunes anyway

I think it could have beat Travis Scott with more promo, better merch, and maybe a Drake feature for extra streams. I mean Travis Scott’s biggest song on his album was with Drake. But either way not to bad, I purchased twice and wanted to purchase physical before the week was over but Wayne’s team was slacking on that. Proud of Wayne he put out a good album and topped the charts once again! The only thing I’m sad about is yeah a lot of people loved the album but a lot of people didn’t as well.

If you bought it 5 fucking times you clearly dont get thrown into the "streamer cheapo" pile lol

dont album purchases on itunes equal 1 cd purchase anyway? its not streaming.

streaming is when your paying something like 4 cents a song play.. bullshit

Wayne streamed more than Travis and that’s saying ALOT about his status in the game.

Travis merch was also cheaper and his tour was already under works.. wasn’t just a promise of an “eventual” Wayne tour.

Still no excuses really... Wayne fucking delivered and the numbers speak loud and clear.

Yeah the majority of people I know who would listen to this sort of music use the free version of Spotify lol

Bought it once digitally and streamed it like crazy on Spotify. Planning on getting the CD. Feel as if they should've released physicals in store sometime this week, would've sold another few 10k I think

should've done much more considering its been hyped up for the last 5 years.

But Wayne's still outselling most rappers in 2018, that's an achievement by its own.
