This just occurred to me.. don’t know if it’s been mentioned ever before... but I’m thr CRWN interview Wayne says Jay Z was sent a song for C5 but was on tour and missed the deadline.

Is it possible that’s the reason Life of Mr. Carter wasn’t on C5? Maybe he decided last minute he wanted Jay on that track. Follow up to Mr. Carter.

People teased mad tracks. Don’t be close minded , ppl. Don’t mean shit. Think about how many songs either didn’t make it, or DID make it and were reworked weeks before C5 came out. Open safe, STSOR, etc

Truth is: aside from Wayne’s camp NOBODY knows answers like this. Just because hoodybaby played a snippet of Life Of Mr. Carter it don’t mean shit. Y’all act like y’all is the authority on this shit. We are all 100% in the dark throwing theories around all the time.

Who here can claim with any evidence whatsoever that Mack didn’t decide last minute — this makes sense to have Jay on it. A sequel to Mr. Carter. They were tinkering with C5 probably days before it was released. Wayne admit most of the references and shit were old and needed to either be scrapped or redone.

Nothing is official til we get a full leak. Even THEN it’s not official. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Don’t be naive.

the guy who asked the question about life of mr carter on that interview got confused and asked if mr. carter 2 was coming, if i remember correctly wayne said that he sent jay something but jay never got around to doing it, its possible you're right obviously but imo he wouldn't put jay on this song thats old, it would have been for something recent
