This just occurred to me.. don’t know if it’s been mentioned ever before... but I’m thr CRWN interview Wayne says Jay Z was sent a song for C5 but was on tour and missed the deadline.

Is it possible that’s the reason Life of Mr. Carter wasn’t on C5? Maybe he decided last minute he wanted Jay on that track. Follow up to Mr. Carter.

I thought they did get Post on time, but chose not to release it anyway. Didn't we hear that at some point? I know Drake was held up for sample clearance issues, same with a few other key C5 tracks like the third one with Mannie Fresh.

Either way, Life of Mr Carter probably would never have been a single. What About Me is a different story because they probably anticipate that to be a hit single -- which, if marketed right, it totally could be. That song is dope, deep and catchy as fuck. It's nice to be able to finally hear Wayne love songs again where he ain't talking about his giant erection LMFAO
