must be 08-09 when I just became a fan. all the constant leaks, No Ceilings release, going on HQ to see new songs like everyday. I remember using LimeWire before discovering LWHQ.

LimeWire was the plug back then, I heard leaks and mixtape songs like Sky is the Limit before hearing the official C3 CD. I still remember when I got Carter 3, played it in the car, wanted to show my mom my favorite song so I skipped straight to track 13 only to be like ''wtf is this shit?''. I thought La La was the same as La La La and was mad disappointed

I always say there’s a lot of styles Wayne has that are goat (top 5) worthy but this one is unmatched and could never be duplicated, not even the new generation could sound as cold and hard as Wayne’s gangsta persona. This his only style that hasn’t been duplicated and never will be.
