How do you plan to remaster a lossy file.

You cant make a shit file suddenly better then the original

If your just making it the bad quality file "louder" then yeah that is doable.
But that would only bring out the shitness of the low quality file.

Be interesting to see what you do to these files tho.

Sounds good bro, Idk if you have noticed but throughout "I'm a Beast" there is this loud pitch humming sound that is especially noticeable on speakers and I wonder if you could take that out. Great job though!

Thanks man. I'm not hearing any humming, maybe you have a different file than I have. Mainly what I've done to I'm a Beast is make it less harsh by turn the highs down, the original leak is way too bright imo.

Yeah i'm EQing and editing stereo image in rare cases.
I'm all for dynamic range and vehemently against the loudness war. Check out the examples i've posted in the OP

Sorry for the late reply, been preoccupied with other projects. I don't think I'll be doing C1 and C2. I'm doing C3 because I love that era on a whole nother level, I grew up with these monster tracks and I really believe that this shit right here, Wayne's peak imo, should be treated with the same level of care and attention as the big boxsets from major acclaimed artists like the Bob Dylans or the Pink Floyds etc. Who knows, maybe down the line I'll do some other Weezy projects that I feel need editing but for now I wouldn't have the time for em.

I wish Wayne's camp felt the same way I do about these leaks and post the flacs of these anthems online somewhere, the world needs em :rejoice:

As for Da Drought 3, I don't think mastering the lossy files would matter much, what we need is those flac or at least mp3v0
