  • Cry Out (Amen) vs Real Rap

Can anyone run through the details between the two versions of this track? I've basically grown up with the more "soulful" Cry Out and it took me a long while to ever get to know that there existed basically another version as Real Rap.

I feel like I know the answer here but can't totally remember...

Cry Out is the original song which was produced by Streetrunner for Lil Weezyana Vol. 1
Real Rap is just a remix with the Cry Out acapella over a different instrumental

For #ThrowbackThursday today, producer STREETRUNNER has released the mastered CDQ version of Lil Wayne‘s “Cry Out (Amen)” song for it’s 10-year anniversary.

The track first appeared on Weezy‘s Lil Weezy Ana Volume 1 mixtape titled “Amen“, but it has leaked online with various other beats and names too, such as “Cry Out” and “Real Rap“.

Finally today thanks to the producer of “Cry Out (Amen)“, STREETRUNNER, we can listen to this beautiful record in CDQ.

"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
                        Guns and stretchers
                        Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
