Let’s say for some reason Lil Wayne stopped rapping after 10,000 bars. Where would y’all put him in your top lists of mcs. Would he still be in y’all top 5? I was tryna think if I would put a squad weezy over a Kendrick or Andre and had to think it would be close.

So basically where would yal rank a Hot Boy/Squad Up Wayne on your all time MCs list

body of work wouldn't have been big enough and in retrospect was still years away from fully mastering the craft.

Had he been stopped, most would compare his rank among cash money members and not against the greats

Wouldn't even be mentioned in regular hip-hop talks as a GOAT. If Wayne stopped there, he'd be remembered about as much as the rest of the early CM artists are (aka not at all).

Oh I see what you mean, but even so I think not. If we're being real, the SQAD tapes are a neat piece of Wayne's history and they definitely helped influence what the mixtape game would later become, but they're truly not that lyrically impressive and tbh come across mostly as a bunch of young kids having fun over their favorite artists beats. Ofc Wayne was the shining star of the tapes but he really didn't find his niche until C1/YM: The Mixtape Vol. 1/Prefix. He might've been casually mentioned as a young talent that had potential but probably nothing more than that; more of a "passing thought" type deal.
