  • So many questions about the Blink/Weezy tour

So I have tickets in the GA pit to a stop on the Blink 182/Lil Wayne tour and am super excited but have SO many questions.

    1) Has anyone heard who is playing their set first? I think this is supposed to be a co-headline, but Blink fans think Blink is the main act and certainly Weezy fans think Weezy is the main attraction (myself included). I feel like fans of whoever plays first may clear out before whoever goes last....
    2) Blink fans are throwing SO MUCH SHADE at the G.O.A.T. online, I don't understand it, I think there is actually pretty great crossover in the fan base, at least among Wayne's fans...maybe not so much among Blink fans. I was definitely (still am) a rock fan before I became a Weezy fan and obviously Wayne has that rock persona/style going on...I mean he plays with his own band! Will any Blink fans come around or will they all write him off before even seeing him?
    3) I am anticipating moshing in the pit by the Blink fans and cannot in my mind imagine how Wayne fans including myself (a small individual) will feel about this. Yay or nay?
    4) My ticket confirmation says I will get a CD copy of his newest album (Funeral anyone?) and so I am wondering if he will be playing new music off that or if it will mainly be C5/other hits?
    5) I saw they postponed the kick-off stop and am honestly wondering if it's because ticket sales haven't been good...prices are lowish.

Thoughts? Is anyone else here seeing this concert?

I think Tunechi and Blink will keep coming out back and forth and then together at the very end

remember the drake vs wayne tour??
        it'll be like that
weezy comes on stage for 30 min, blink 182, weezy again, blink 182 again, and yea you get the point

I do! However I keep reading online that it will be "back to back sets" which I took to mean complete sets. The Drake v Wayne model makes sense though

Anyone with common sense can see this tour would not work.

Was this seriously his only option for a tour? What do people on here think he should/could have done instead? Why was there not a wider C5 tour instead of that brief Dec 2018 stint of shows he did? I know another Drake v Wayne is probably unlikely anytime soon but I struggle to imagine that there was no better option than this, especially given how well C5 did when released

Related: I saw that Wayne will no longer perform at that first show that was rescheduled to September (the one in OH)...they have some other artist replacing him.

I went to the Boston show and it was great, he had a lot of energy and everyone was singing with him. The show the next night was the one he walked out early on (VA). I have seen a few snippets of him performing at other venues and with some exceptions his energy seems much lower and he is doing less call/response stuff. The tour is not even half over. I feel bad for him.
