C5 was repetive in some aspect such as the "man in the mirror" due to poor/ repetitve song selection

Due to the title I think Funeral should be more rapping instead of trying to fit in with Today Generation style of rap but I understand Wayne wants to proved that he can make catchy songs & make some hits in 2019

No need to doubt Wayne in 2019 honestly. I think we have moved away from the period where we gotta worry about the quality. But that’s my opinion.

Wasn't there even a thread here where someone said that almost every song on CV has a hook or something comparable to a conventional hook? Maybe Wayne is referring to all of his unreleased songs where it's just bars and that's it but CV had hooks galore.

CV had some nice hooks, I wouldn't be mad with hooks on every song on Funeral

Dedicate didn't have a hook and that was rlly good and well liked
Mona Lisa didn't have a hook and that was the most popular song
Open Letter had no hook and Hittas didnt rlly have one either

Wayne doesnt rlly need change much. But I'm not worried after hearing D6/D6R and his features the last two years we will get a great album
