Lil Wayne Lines That Touched You On A Personal Level
The whole No Quitter, How Can Something, Dear Lord, Drop the World, Sh!t (the emotion behind it)
"Salutation to my old hoes! And thank you for your participation!"
"These niggas never see me sweat, and tell the press I'm not depressesed
I just had to press reset, I just had to get me set
and I'm not playing skipped recess
I'm a different Weezy, I'm dripping Fiji in the Lamborgini with the seats wet
Hardest lesson is regret..."
"She said, 'fuck that shit I'm done with niggas'
Broke right down in front a nigga and asked me if I understand...
Girl I see what you mean with tunnel vision"
"I saw a butterfly in hell today"
(Context: I saw a yellow/black butterfly at work/hell that tried to land on me.
It meant nothing but good things ahead, joy, creativity, etc.)
Not lines but for me Best Rapper Alive was important to me on a personal level. C2 came out my second year of college and I was running track. I was a super basketcase of a runner that let mental shit get in my way a lot. Not only was BRA a great pumpup song to have on your warmup playlist but the concept of speaking into existence what you believe to be true about yourself really helped me claw my way out of a rut performance wise and reach my potential in my college career. I ran some of my best races after having that song in my ear nonstop for an hour and its still a fav of mine to this day
Either love is blind or nothing’s there, because I can’t see the forest from the tree, the water from the sea. I was starting to believe buts it’s a forest full of dreams.
“You always see me with the white cup
Some people say that is a bad look
But take a good look at what you are looking at
You never know when it’s your last look.”
Been a die hard Wayne fan since before Carter 3, and there’s been major ups and downs along the way. This line just makes me appreciate what a hell of a ride it’s been.

It’s crazy because we have a living Legend before our eyes and one day he will be gone, with the lean/pills/coke/seizures and stressful life he’s had it’s a huge possibility he could be gone one day soon, hopefully not but it’s very possible. We need to appreciate him like Pac or Biggie.
