Why do people like FWA so much compared to Wayne's more recent work?

They should have called it a mixtape and release it for free everywhere. But yea I think they could put it on streaming because everything is already cleared

FWA was overall happier sounding then C5
Yes Carter 5 is much darker vibe.
But yea I would love for it to be released officially now.
Glory < Uproar and Demon
He's Dead < Cant Be Broken
I feel good < Open Safe and Dope New Gospel
My heart races on < Dark Side of the moon and What about me
London Roads < Open Letter
Im That Nigga < Used 2
Psycho < Famous
Murda < Dope Niggaz
Thinkin Bout you < Hittas and Took his time
Post Bail Ballin < Dont Cry and Mess
Pull Up < Dedicate and STSOR
Livin Right < Let it Fly
White Girl < Problems and In this house
Pick Up Your Heart < Let it all work out and Perfect Strangers
Street Chains < Mona Lisa and Hasta La Vista
I don't agree.. Adds another dimension to it in my opinion
U get a little of everything on the album.. That's what's so great about it
to go from London roads. to I'm that nigga. to psycho. it was just too much of a shift that murda couldn't recover from. and it bled out onto thinkin bout you. until finally it was just sadness in without you. and then he snapped back in it and had to remind these niggas something on post bail ballin, and THAT's when it kicked back into gear, and it was a smooth journey from then on out. nah I'm playin, but forreal though it fucked up the mood tho

C5 > FWA Each row C5 wins
easily. everything he did on fwa he did on c5 better. the only thing he didn't do is directly reference the situation (like he's dead) and he probably didn't rap as fast as on pull up. (I don't like that word 'probably')

It really never fucked up the mood for me even on first listen.... And I'm confused. if you're just talkimg about the arrangement and not the actual songs then its not about the actual content

a little bit of both. those songs definitely shouldn't have been placed that close together, and psycho, murda, thinking bout you, and without you are all way too slow in conjunction to the rest of the album.
I think FWA is so beloved because it was his prove it album. He was always able to ride on the coat tails of his popularity with previous albums so admittedly we got some bullshit in the span of 4-5 years.
FWA came during a point where Wayne fell off and I miss that old Wayne were everyday phrases. Free Weezy was a time when his fans were actually able to hear the hunger and effort in his music again. It was a good day to be a Tune fan so regardless how it did commercially it holds a spot in real Weezy fans hearts.
