If Dedication 5 was a legitimate album it'd be the best of his entire career.

What has you putting D5 where it's at on your list?

        D2, D6/R, D1, D5, D3, D4

D1 would've been 2 if it wasn't basically a blend of the YM Mixtape. If D3 had less features and more Wayne it would've been ranked higher as well.

            Just to kinda abbreviate it:

D2 is a classic and is prime Weezy spitting
D6/R has the best wordplay/bar structure in the entire series
D1 again is a classic but it's not higher because it's more of a remix project
D5 was Wayne getting back into rare form following his early 2010's decline but it still has many duds despite a few bangers
D4 is the prime example of Wayne's early 2010's decline and the mixing is terrible but it's still kinda fun imo
D3 was Wayne at his laziest, coming off the success of C3 and attempting to showcase his YM crew while delivering average to poor verses through terrible autotune mixing. His line "I don't even gotta rhyme, I just made 100 million dollars" honestly describes that project perfect.

I can respect this, I feel like D3 isn't ever going to be considered lyrical but it's a really nostalgic and fun project for me personally. As for D4.. I think the mixing was kinda not the best but it's got some real gems tbh.

Honestly, Keep being you bro. Don't turn into someone who just jumps on a boat because it's the cool thing, It's fine to share opinions but hey, if you feel something others don't that's completely okay too. Not to be corny but it's dope if you feel that way and got shit for it before and still felt that way.

Wow, how can you say that about D3?! D3 has many of the greatest Wayne verses of all time. Magic may be the only lazy Wayne verse in the entire tape

I enjoy D5 now and then but am not enthusiastic about it. Don't Kill carries the whole thing IMO

Unlike Carter 5 (a very long album) Dedication 5 doesn't feel like it plays on for way too long. I can listen through it without my ears being tired. The features are pretty damn good too, Some of Wayne's best album songs have wack features.

                          5/5 perfect project.
d5 was full of wack features from t.i. and 2 chainz though, way too many. and wasn't there one from kidd kidd?
