What's also concerning is how the label listened to both versions and agreed to keep some of the OG c5 tracks off the released version. Kinda odd if you ask me

Tbf the og c5 was out there and wayne wanted to rerecord a lot of songs. So that‘s why a lot lf songs aren‘t on this.
but yeah it‘s obviously criminal to not put lomc and scotti pippen on the album.

I don't know. I am circling in on a conclusion that they did pretty well with C5 and that with a few obvious exceptions most of these songs are not Carter material. And who is to say Wayne himself did not veto some of these songs for his own eccentric reasons? I recall way back in the Dear Anne days, everyone was obsessed but Wayne was out there saying he just did not like his delivery on it. So who knows. I am not their biggest fans but thats my 2 cents after digesting this a bit
