I think if you took the best 18-20 songs from the C5’s and made it into 1 album, then it crushes any other album. Ever. Your fillers end up being some of the best songs released that year. It’s a fucking shame the entire OG album wasn’t released as a bonus . They could have released it on his bday next week and it could have went platinum on its on.
But to the original question. The OG C5 is better than C4 for me right now. May be different in a few years. But the entire build up to C5 was insane and these songs were thought to be locked away forever. They could have made a documentary about the whole process and released the OG with the documentary. I would have loved to have paid 50$ for set. The possibilities were endless. Glad to have the songs now but damn. Just damn.
